BBX Minerals CEO Andre Douchane joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has shared its results from pilot plant testing utilising a sample from its TrĂªs Estados project. The testing was the second pilot plant test following the execution of a Product Supply and IP Agreement between BBX and Ecobiome.

Douchane also told Proactive fire assays returned a combined total of 16.52 g/t of Pd and Au and a significant increase in gold and palladium compared with the untreated sample. The findings indicate a substantial enhancement in metal recovery through the bioleaching process. The company intends to review and refine its process strategy, looking for more improvements and maximising recoveries in the upcoming pilot plant testing.

BBX Minerals also has another project called Ema, which is located about 60 kilometers away from Tre Estado and shows potential for rare earth elements. The company is excited about both projects and sees them as fitting into the future carbon-neutral economy, as platinum group metals and rare earth metals are essential for various applications such as automobiles, TVs, cell phones, and hydrogen chemistry. The CEO expressed optimism about the projects and the company’s goals.
