Cascadia Minerals CEO Graham Downs joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has announced its inaugural diamond drilling program at the Catch copper-gold property, situated in central Yukon.
Additionally, Cascadia Minerals has active crews deployed across different properties: conducting soil sampling and prospecting at the Rosy Property in Yukon, as well as undertaking soil sampling, prospecting, and a deep-induced polarization geophysical survey at the PIL Property in British Columbia.
Downs elaborated on the plans for the drilling program, outlining intentions to undertake 2,500 meters of drilling. The Diorite Zone is a major focal point of this endeavor, with plans to execute 3 to 4 holes. These holes will serve to test the confluence of surface mineralization and geophysical indications at depth. Notably, one of these holes will be directed towards an outcrop that has yielded remarkable results, including 3.88% copper and 30.00 g/t gold.
Simultaneously, the drilling campaign will encompass 3 holes at the Main Zone. This zone is positioned under a substantial stretch measuring 500 meters in length, marked by extensive surface mineralization. The focus of these holes is to probe the geophysical response at greater depths.
Cascadia Minerals is well-prepared for this endeavor, having secured the necessary permits to undertake up to 4,000 meters of drilling, should the project’s demands require such an extension. This comprehensive approach aligns with the company’s commitment to tapping into the rich mineral potential of these properties while employing rigorous exploration and testing methods.
