CleanTech Lithium announces plans to raise £6mln in AIM IPO to fund lithium projects in Chile

CleanTech Lithium CEO Aldo Boitano joined Proactive’s Stephen Gunnion with news that the company intends to raise £6mln in an IPO on the AIM market, with funds used to complete key milestones post IPO including resource upgrades, pilot plant construction, feasibility studies and environmental permitting.

CleanTech Lithium holds two highly strategic lithium projects in Chile including the Laguna Verde project, which has a JORC compliant estimate of 1.2 million tons of lithium. Boitano said the company plans to use direct lithium extraction to vastly reduce the environmental impact of lithium extraction in Chile, and is targeting production in 2024.
