Eric Sprott acquired 11 million shares of Labrador Gold for cash consideration of $9.99 million, giving him a 12.4% ownership stake in the company. Labrador Gold is a Canadian based mineral exploration company exploring for tier-one gold discoveries in Newfoundland. The company has recently acquired a 100% interest in the highly prospective Kingsway gold project in Newfoundland, located along trend of New Found Gold’s Keats and Lotto zone discoveries. The company currently has 4 drill rigs operating as part of a 50,000 metre drill program.

2) Benchmark Metals (TSX.V: BNCH)

Eric Sprott exercised 6.66 million share purchase warrants of Benchmark Metals, keeping him  as the company’s largest single shareholder controlling 14.8% of outstanding shares. Benchmark Metals is a Canadian based gold and silver company advancing its 100% owned Lawyer’s Gold-Silver Project located in the prolific Golden Horseshoe of northern British Columbia, Canada. The Project consists of three mineralized deposits that remain open for expansion, in addition to +20 new target areas along the 20-kilometre trend.

3) New Age Metals (TSX.V: NAM)

Eric Sprott acquired an additional 12.98 million shares of New Age Metals, increasing his stake in the company to 24.51% of all outstanding shares. Mr. Sprott can further increase his stake in New Age Metals to 34.7% if he exercises the associated share purchase warrants attached to private placement. New Age Metals is a junior mineral exploration and development company focused on the discovery, exploration and development of green metal projects in North America. The Company has two divisions; a Platinum Group Metals division and a Lithium/Rare Element division.

4) Ethos Gold (TSX.V: ECC)

Eric Sprot made a strategic $2 million investment into Ethos Gold through the purchase of 6.25 million units consisting of one common share of the company along with one share purchase warrant exercisable at $0.45 per warrant. Ethos Gold, a Discovery Group company, has accumulated a portfolio of district-scale projects in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and Newfoundland that have large scale discovery potential. The Company has a solid technical team led by Dr. Rob Carpenter, formerly the CEO of Kaminak Gold Corporation, who led the Kaminak team from initial listing in 2005 through acquisition and discovery of the multiple-million-ounce Coffee Gold Project.

5) E79 Resources (TSX.V: ESNR)

Eric Sprott was the lead order in an $8 million private placement completed by E79 Resources. Mr. Sprott acquired five million shares at a price of $1 per share. E79 Resources is focused on exploring for Fosterville-type mineralization at its properties in the Victorian Goldfields, Australia. The Myrtleford property represents the consolidation of an entire historic gold camp with over 70 past producing gold mines on the property, where the bulk of historic mining stopped at the water table. At Beaufort, an opportunity exists to explore for a hard rock source of a major alluvial goldfield along a structure that is known to host gold in the region.
